Neutrals
This has been a trend for a while, but it continues to be the popular choice for many flooring options.
A lot of people are choosing to stick with neutral tones when it comes to the colour of their flooring. It’s often surprising how having a lighter-coloured flooring can make a room look bigger and more ‘airy’.
This doesn’t mean that the room can’t have character; many decide to have bold coloured soft furnishings to break the colours up a little. The neutral flooring can also act as a binder that holds the interior design together.
Grey shades
Grey continues to be a top colour choice for flooring due to its many shades and it’s capability to be used in multiple rooms of the house. Having grey flooring allows you to build on the rest of the room in any way you like. Making it a good option if you’re looking to use the same coloured flooring throughout a large part of the house.
Earthy Green
This one is perfect for this time of year, as it encompasses the colour tones of Autumn while also creating a cosy atmosphere. Using this colour scheme means that you can dip into a palette of mustard yellows, oranges and brown, creating an autumnal bliss.
If you’re not sure about having green floors, you could opt for a traditional real wood flooring and include the green another way; such as in the soft furnishings.
