What's the most durable carpet?
When it comes to durability, nylon carpets are the best option. Nylon has outstanding bearing and wear properties which makes it an easy winner for durability. Having said that, they are limitations to a nylon carpet and it’s worth knowing these things before you chose it.
The first is that they are not eco-friendly and the process to make the Nylon carpet is an extensive one. As you can imagine, plastic is not naturally fabric-like and so it needs to go through a lengthy process to make it that way. On top of this, because it is plastic it’s also not biodegradable.
The good news is that we do stock a carpet that is eco-friendly and is actually made from abandoned fishing nets and plastic bottles. This means that you get the durability of the plastic material, while knowing that your carpet choice is a sustainable one.
