Seasonal style spotlight:
Spring/Summer
Summer flooring trends are warming things up in line with the temperature. Banish those cold silvers and greys and bring back the neutrals! Check out the latest flooring trends for the season to bring both character and comfort to any room.
Colours
It’s time to bin icy shades in favour of something warmer. Think dappled natural plaster, a delicious clotted cream, or even a warm terracotta.
Textures
In an extension from last season, natural textures are still taking centre stage, bringing the character of the outdoors in. On warmer days when you may walk around with nothing on your feet, how do you want the floor to feel under them? Visitors to our stores are encouraged to touch and feel the products for exactly this reason!
Carpets
Carpets
In 2026, the sensory experience of carpet is increasingly important. Gone are flat, silver-grey twists and they have been replaced by deep, tactile textures in warm natural tones.
The Trend: Chunky Berber loops and velvet-finish wool blends.
The Palette: Ditch the cool tones for ‘Grounded Neutrals’ think Oatmeal, Terracotta Blush, and Moss Green or how about a colour that blends well with green soft furnishings, such as a subtle pink shade?
SS26 Highlight: 100% British Wool is the star this season. It’s naturally sustainable, hypoallergenic, and provides that ‘springy’ underfoot feel that synthetic alternatives can’t match. It’s much better for the environment too!

Laminates
Laminates
Modern laminate technology now rivals real timber so closely that it’s nearly impossible to tell the difference, making it the go-to for busy, trend-conscious households.
The Trend: Ultra-Matte ‘Zero-Gloss’ finishes. These eliminate the plastic-like sheen of old laminates, perfectly capturing the dry-wood look of the 2026 ‘New Earth’ trend.
The Palette: Weathered Chestnut and Toasted Rye. Richer, mid-brown tones that anchor a room and hide the wear and tear of family life.
SS26 Highlight: Water-Resistant Core Tech. Our latest 2026 ranges allow for the ‘wood look’ to flow seamlessly from the hallway right into the bathroom. Ask our experts to show you the right ranges for the right room!

LVT and Vinyls
LVT and Vinyls
LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles): The Pattern Revival
LVT continues to lead the way in kitchen and bathroom design, but the ‘grey plank’ is officially taking a backseat to decorative artistry.
The Trend: Tone-on-tone Colourways. Instead of harsh black-and-white, 2026 is about subtle pairings like Sage and Cream or Sandstone and Terracotta.
The Layout: Beyond Herringbone, look for Basket Weave and Brick-Bond layouts that add architectural interest to smaller utility spaces. We can discuss your ideas with our expert fitters and see what will really work within your chosen space.
SS26 Highlight: Super hard wearing, waterproof and beautiful at the same time! Even your most practical flooring can fit perfectly with your inteior decor choices. Just ask our expert team to help!
Vinyls: High-Fashion Minimalism
Sheet vinyl has undergone a style revolution for 2026, offering a seamless look that mimics high-end Mediterranean villas.
The Trend: Seamless Micro-cement and Terrazzo effects. These provide a clean, minimalist foundation for modern homes without the coldness of real stone.
The Palette: Warm Plaster and Soft Clay. These warmer tones provide a soft, matte finish that works beautifully in practical spaces such as laundry rooms and playrooms.
SS26 Highlight: Cushion-back Vinyl many now have enhanced thermal properties, staying cool in the summer heat while retaining warmth in the evenings.

Wood
Wood
Authenticity is the primary focus for wood flooring this year. The goal is to make the floor look as though it has been part of the landscape for decades.
The Trend: Wide-plank (200mm+) formats and Hand-scraped finishes. Matte and subtle sheens have replaced high-shine lacquers.
The Palette: Honey Oak, Amber, and Raw Biscuit. We are seeing a total departure from ‘grey-wash’ wood in favour of tones that radiate warmth.
SS26 Highlight: Sustainable Oak; embrace the character! Choose full knots and natural grain variations that make every plank unique.
